The Thompson, Ohio AT&T long lines site is a short haul site located beheind a construction shop. The whole site was cleared away prior to 2022. The long lines tower that stood at the site was a small guyed mast about 53 feet tall. The site began operation in 1972 as a relay between Chardon and Ashtabula. The Thompson site was shut down in 1978 as it was replaced by another site that was constructed a few miles away.
